Our Sunday Service starts at 10 am. Occasionally there is an additional service at 8 am. See Newsletter for details. Our services are normally led by Paul, our Minister. At other times they are led by a Priest, Local Preacher or Reader. They last about an hour. The children generally join us for a little while at the start of the service before they leave for their own activities. When there is Communion they join us at the end. Communion is held twice a month (sometimes more often). Our Church welcomes all. Babies and children are most welcome to our services. There is a creche but you can also stay and take part in the service (cushions, books and a few toys at the back of the church). Services are amplified and an induction loop is fitted for those with hearing aids. We are an ecumenical partnership and our services contain elements from the Methodist and Anglican traditions. The main sources for songs used in worship are Hymns and Psalms, Hymns Ancient and Modern and Songs of Fellowship. accompanied by piano or organ. And sometimes the children keep time with an assortment of percussion instruments. Our occasional choir gets together at the major festivals. We have coffee in the hall after the service. Sometimes with cakes or biscuits if Explorers have been baking. Our congregation is made up of a wide variety of people from all age groups. There are many groups associated with the church. Follow the Groups Link to find out more about these. |

The All Saints' Prayer O God our heavenly Father, your Son Jesus Christ prayed that we might be one as you and he are one. Look with compassion on your children of All Saints'. Teach us to put aside all our prejudices and fears, to seek to understand your purpose for us, and to use together our different strengths and insights. Grant us courage to follow your leading and humility to learn from each other, so that in unity and love we may reflect your glory, both in worship and in daily life. We ask this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen |
